The Synopsis:
Takuro Oki is the chef and owner of a diner "Kokoroya", which is very popular in the neighbourhood. Because hi is awkward and ugly in appearance, he has no luck with women. He fall in love Hiroko, a part-time helper in his diner but she reject him. Heart-broken , Takuro goes shopping and is introduced to the 'HANSCOME SUIT'. This is a magical suit tat transforms its wearer to became incredibly good-looking and suave. Takuro is instantly transformed into 'Hikariyama Annin', a wildly popular male model. He is, however still unable to forget Hiroko. As Annin, he encounters her in a park but is rejected again.

Returning to his diner, he he meet the ever-smilling Motoe, who applies for the jod Hiroko has left vacant. While she is as physically unattractive as he is, she is a good helper, and Takuro feels at peace wht the two of them are together. Gradually, he warms to her.

Living a double life as the owner of a small diner and a glamorous model, Takuro compares the two and starts to find the life he has always led has grown stale by comparsion.

Takuro is faced with a choice. Will he abandon the "Kokoroya", his staff and friends to be a model beloved of millions women? Or will he choose to remain himself, awkward and unattractive? And what has become of the beautiful Hiroko anyway?
